(Sports Network) – Corey Maggette scored a game-high 23 points to lead the
Los Angeles Clippers over the Chicago Bulls, 97-96, at the United Center.

Marko Jaric added 19 points and eight assists for the Clippers, who came back
from a 24-point deficit to win their second game in three tries. It was the
biggest comeback on the road in franchise history.

The Clippers only shot 42 percent from the field and lost the battle on the
glass, 46-41. But they took care of the basketball, only turning it over 11

The Clippers trailed by as many as 49-25 in the second quarter, but responded
with a 20-4 run to get back into the game. Maggette capped it off on a three-
point play with 42 seconds left in the half to cut the deficit to 53-45.

With 3:08 remaining in the third, the Clippers grabbed their first lead since
the opening minutes when Jaric drained a pair of free throws that put LA
ahead, 69-67.

The game was knotted at 76-76 after three quarters, but the Clippers started
the fourth frame on an 11-1 burst to grab their biggest lead of the game and
they were in front the rest of the way. Chris Wilcox completed the run on a
dunk with 7:25 left to play that made it an 87-77 contest.

The closest the Bulls came to was within one, but it was the final shot of the
game when Kirk Hinrich drilled a meaningless three.

The Clippers are 3-2 on the road this season.

Los Angeles has a couple of days off before hosting Toronto on Tuesday.
