(Sports Network) – The Bulls fell to 0-4 on Saturday, blowing a huge lead in
a 97-96 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at the United Center.

Eddy Curry tallied 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls, who started a
season with four straight losses for the first time since the 2000-2001

The Hornets (0-6) are the only the other team without a victory.

Tyson Chandler netted 17 points and 13 boards in the defeat.

The Clippers trailed by as many as 49-25 in the second quarter, but responded
with a 20-4 run to get back into the game. Maggette capped it off on a three-
point play with 42 seconds left in the half to cut the deficit to 53-45.

With 3:08 remaining in the third, the Clippers grabbed their first lead since
the opening minutes when Jaric drained a pair of free throws that put LA
ahead, 69-67.

The game was knotted at 76-76 after three quarters, but the Clippers started
the fourth frame on an 11-1 burst to grab their biggest lead of the game and
they were in front the rest of the way. Chris Wilcox completed the run on a
dunk with 7:25 left to play that made it an 87-77 contest.

The closest the Bulls came to was within one, but it was the final shot of the
game when Kirk Hinrich drilled a meaningless three.

Chicago has lost its first three home games of the season.

The Bulls have a couple of days off before starting a seven-game road trip in
Sacramento on Tuesday.
