(Sports Network) – Dirk Nowitzki poured in a game-high 32 points and grabbed
13 rebounds to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 122-113 win over the Washington
Wizards on Sunday at the MCI Center.

Jerry Stackhouse, who was playing his former team for the first time since
being traded in the offseason, scored 28 points for the Mavericks, who have
won three straight and improved to an NBA best 7-1 on the season. Jason Terry
contributed 13 points and 11 assists and Marquis Daniels also chipped in 13
points in the win.

Nowitzki ended 10-of-15 from the floor and 9-of-11 from the foul line for
Dallas, which shot 52 percent from the floor (43-of-82) and was 12-of-19 from
three-point range (63 percent). It was the first time this season a Dallas
opponent has scored at least 100 points in a game.

Stackhouse has scored 28 points in two straight games.

The Mavericks are off until Tuesday when they host the Phoenix Suns.
Last season, Dallas won three-of-four from the Suns.
