Bobcats activate two from injured list
Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats Monday activated
guard Keith Bogans and forward/center Jamal Sampson from the injured list.
Bogans was acquired by Charlotte on November 1 in a trade with Orlando that
sent Brandon Hunter to the Magic. The 6-5, 215-pound Bogans played in 73 games
as a rookie and averaged 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per outing.
Sampson was selected by the Bobcats in the Expansion Draft on June 22 from the
Los Angeles Lakers, but has not played a game since undergoing left foot
surgery on March 9, 2004. In 15 career games over two seasons with Milwaukee
and the Lakers, Sampson has netted 1.9 points and grabbed 3.6 rebounds per
To make room on the roster, Charlotte placed guard/forward Bernard Robinson
(left knee tendinitis) and forward Tamar Slay (left foot) on the injured list.
