(Sports Network) – The much-improved Phoenix Suns visit the winless New
Orleans Hornets tonight at New Orleans Arena.

Phoenix put an end to a two-game losing streak on Tuesday, tallying a 107-101
victory over Dallas at the AmericanAirlines Arena. Amare Stoudemire poured in
34 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to anchor the Suns the win.

In his first return to Dallas after playing seven years for the Mavericks,
Steve Nash tallied 17 points and 18 assists for the Suns, who snapped a brief
two-game losing streak. Nash also had 10 turnovers in the winning effort.

Quentin Richardson and Shawn Marion registered 18 points apiece, while
tallying 13 and 14 rebounds respectively.

The Suns have registered 100 or more points in six of their first seven

Phoenix, which is in the midst of a two-game road trip, has tallied a 4-1 road
mark this year.

The Suns and Hornets split a pair of meetings last season. The Hornets have
won six of nine and seven of the last 11 meetings. Phoenix is 18-15 all-time
against the Hornets.
