Hawks activate Delk; Willis to IL

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) – The Atlanta Hawks placed 42-year-old forward
Kevin Willis on the injured list with a right shoulder strain and used his
roster spot to activate guard Tony Delk.

Willis, the oldest player in the league, has started three of Atlanta’s eight
games this season, averaging 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds.

Delk, acquired from the Dallas Mavericks in the offseason along with Antoine
Walker, has yet to play this season after undergoing surgery on his right knee
this summer.

The well-traveled guard has career averages of 8.8 points and 1.9 assists over
nine seasons with the Hornets, Golden State, Sacramento, Phoenix, Boston and
Dallas.
