=== Seattle SuperSonics Team Report – November 20 ===

(Sports Network) – Rashard Lewis scored a game-high 27 points to lead Seattle
over Toronto, 101-94, at Air Canada Centre.

Ray Allen added 24 points and six assists for the SuperSonics, who improved to
an NBA best record 9-1 with their ninth consecutive victory. It is Seattle’s
best start since the 1993-94 campaign when it started out with 10 straight
wins.

Seattle hasn’t lost since an opening game defeat to the Los Angeles
Clippers.

The SuperSonics held a small two-point edge about four minutes into the
fourth, but then tallied eight unanswered points to push the advantage to
double digits. On a pass from Danny Fortson, Nick Collison capped off the
burst on a layup with 7:03 remaining to give his team an 85-75 lead.

With 3:26 to play, Allen drained a three-pointer to give Seattle its largest
lead of the game at 94-82.

Toronto cut the deficit to five in the final minute at 97-92 via a Matt Bonner
jumper, but it was too little too late as the SuperSonics sealed the victory
with four straight free throws.

Each team shot 34-of-79 from the field, but Seattle won the battle on the
glass, 44-34.

The Sonics, who are in the midst of a six-game road trip, improved to 4-1 away
from home this season.

Seattle will return to action on Sunday when they face the Boston Celtics.
Last season the two teams split two matchups, but Boston has won six of eight
and eight of the last 11 meetings. The Sonics have also dropped five straight
in Beantown.
