(Sports Network) – Earl Boykins tied a career-high with 32 points in 29
minutes off the bench to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 99-81 victory over the
winless Chicago Bulls at the Pepsi Center.

Boykins shot 10-of-15 from the floor and was perfect in 10 tries at the line
to match his career high from three games ago versus Detroit.

Anthony recorded 18 points and seven rebounds for the Nuggets, who have won
six straight at home against Chicago and nine of the last 11 meetings overall.
Miller netted 16 points and Martin had 13 with nine rebounds in the win.

After a finger roll by Kirk Hinrich gave Chicago a 66-65 edge with five
minutes left in the third period, the Nuggets went ahead for good with a 14-4
run — ignited by a Boykins three-pointer.

Bryon Russell capped the rally with a three at the third-quarter buzzer, then
drained another from long range for the first bucket of the fourth, handing
Denver an 82-70 advantage.

Andres Nocioni’s jumper midway through the final stanza made it 85-77, but
that was as close as the Bulls would get.

On the injury front, forward Marcus Camby, just back from a two-game absence,
left in the first half after re-injuring his hamstring.

The Nuggets return to action on Sunday when they welcome the Dallas Mavericks
to the Pepsi Center. Last season, Denver split its two matchups with the Mavs,
but has lost 10 of 12 and 16 of the last 19 meetings. The Nuggets have also
lost five of six and seven of their last nine at home in this series.
