(Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats return to action this evening when
they visit the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills in the first
contest their since the ugly brawl that ensued on Friday.

To help avoid any carry-over from the other night, the Pistons will double
the number of armed police at The Palace tonight, with about 20 in the arena,
and increase other unarmed security personnel by about 25 percent.

Charlotte, meanwhile, has lost six in a row following their 100-84 setback at
the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers at Gund Arena.

Gerald Wallace led the expansion Bobcats with 15 points, while Emeka Okafor
and Keith Bogans each chipped in 13 for Charlotte, which has just one win in
its first eight games.

Charlotte trailed by just one, 48-47, at halftime, but were outscored by the
Cavs 32-15 in the third quarter to lose control of the game.
