(Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Clippers fell to the Phoenix Suns,
122-111, on Sunday at the Staples Center.

Marko Jaric posted 19 points and 10 assists for the Clippers, who suffered
their third consecutive defeat. Elton Brand and Bobby Simmons each had 17
points in the loss.

After trailing 96-81 heading into the fourth quarter, Quinton Ross converted
four straight foul shots to get Los Angeles within 105-99 with 6:09 left in
the contest. But the Clippers got no closer.

Mikki Moore chipped in with 18 points and 10 boards off the bench for the
Clippers, who fell to 2-3 at home. Ross ended with 12 points for LA.

Jaric has scored in double-digits in five of LA’s 11 games this season. He is
averaging 10.8 points and a team-high 5.2 assists in the new campaign.

The Clippers are off until Thursday when they host the New Jersey Nets. Last
season, the Nets swept two games from the Clippers.
