Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – November 22

=== Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – November 22 ===

(Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats lost on Sunday when Tayshaun
Prince’s dunk over rookie Emeka Okafor with 16 seconds left in the second
overtime lifted the undermanned Detroit Pistons to a 117-116 win in the first
game at The Palace since Friday night’s ugly brawl between Indiana players
and fans.

Okafor finished with 15 points and 10 boards — but missed the potential game-
winning shot at the buzzer — for the Bobcats, who have dropped seven
straight. Jason Kapono had a career-high 25 points before fouling out in
Charlotte’s first overtime game in franchise history.

Charlotte’s Primoz Brezec had a career-high 22 points, while Brevin Knight had
a season-high 15 assists to go along with six points in the loss to Detroit.
Okafor has three double-doubles this season.

Okafor has averaged 10.3 points and 9.2 rebounds in his first nine games in
the NBA.

Charlotte is off until Tuesday when it hosts the Pistons in the second of the
home-and-home set.
