(Sports Network) – Lamond Murray scored all 13 of his points in the fourth
quarter, including a clutch three-pointer down the stretch, as the Toronto
Raptors ended San Antonio’s six-game winning streak with a 96-91 win on Sunday
at the Air Canada Centre.

Chris Bosh had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who put the brakes
on a five-game losing streak. Rafer Alston also had 20 points, while Morris
Peterson chipped in 16 for Toronto.

Trailing by an 82-63 score, Toronto opened the fourth quarter on a 19-4 run as
Peterson’s three-pointer with 5 1/2 minutes remaining in the game pulled
Toronto within four. The Raptors would later even the score at 87 apiece on
two foul shots by Bosh and an Alston layup in succession. Alston then gave the
Raptors an 89-88 lead after Tim Duncan sank 1-of-2 free throws.

With less than two minutes to go, Murray hit a three from the top of the key
and the Raptors had a 92-90 lead. Murray, who also had a big block on Duncan,
then sealed the win with an 18-foot jumper for a 94-90 edge with 14.6 seconds
left.

Murray has scored in double-digits in three of Toronto’s 11 games this season.
He is averaging 6.8 points per contest.

The Raptors are off until Tuesday when they visit the Washington Wizards at
the MCI Center. Last season, the Wizards defeated the Raptors in three of the
four contests between the squads.
