(Sports Network) – Shawn Marion finished with 21 points and a season-high 16
rebounds to lead Phoenix to a 100-82 win over Chicago at America West Arena.

Amare Stoudemire contributed 21 points, six rebounds and five assists for the
Suns, who posted their fifth straight victory for the first time in two
seasons. Steve Nash chipped in with 15 points and six assists.

Stoudemire, who was named the Western Conference Player of the Week earlier in
the day on Monday, failed to record 30 points for the first time in five

Chicago got within 71-61 on a short jumper by Ben Gordon with less than three
minutes to go in the third, but trailed 77-64 at the end of the quarter.
Stoudemire’s dunk less than four minutes into the fourth quarter capped a
eight-point flurry that put the Suns ahead 85-64.

The Bulls pulled within 85-68 on a basket by Curry less than a minute later,
but no closer.

Casey Jacobsen and Leandro Barbosa delivered 10 points apiece off the bench
for Phoenix.

All the news was not good, though, for the Suns, as guard Quentin Richardson
left the game with a hyperextended left elbow. Richardson had been just
