Minnesota Timberwolves Team Report – November 24

=== Minnesota Timberwolves Team Report – November 24 ===

(Sports Network) – The Minnesota Timberwolves found themselves on the wrong
end of a 103-92 decision against the Seattle SuperSonics at the Target Center
on Tuesday.

Kevin Garnett collected 16 points, 14 rebounds and six assists to lead the
Timberwolves, who had a two-game winning streak snapped. Wally Szczerbiak also
scored 16, while Troy Hudson and Fred Hoiberg added 14 apiece in the loss.

Minnesota was within eight points early in the third quarter, but the Sonics
used a 12-2 spurt to take an 18-point lead. Ray Allen had five points during
the burst, and Reggie Evans capped it with a bucket around the 7:00 mark to
give Seattle its 75-57 lead.

The Sonics later went ahead by 22 before carrying an 89-69 lead into the
fourth. Minnesota was never closer than the final margin.

Trenton Hassell had 10 points in the loss for Minnesota.

The Timberwolves return to action on Thursday with a Thanksgiving affair
versus the Indiana Pacers, who have already defeated them this season. In
fact, the Pacers have won five of the last six meetings between the teams and
Minnesota is a dismal 2-12 all-time in Indiana.
