(Sports Network) – The New Orleans Hornets battled for three overtimes on
Tuesday night, but fell 115-109 to the Golden State Warriors at The Arena in
Oakland.

Jamaal Magloire scored a career-high 27 points and pulled a season-high 14
rebounds for the Hornets, who have lost nine of 10 games to open the season.
David Wesley scored a season-high 22 points and Lee Nailon posted 18 points.

Mickael Pietrus added 13 for Golden State, which scored the initial six points
of the third overtime to go ahead 108-102.

Adonal Foyle tipped in an offensive rebound, and Calbert Cheaney converted a
short hook in the lane and a jumper with less than two minutes remaining.

Magloire made a foul shot to get New Orleans within 108-103 with a minute to
go, but no closer. A tough shot in the lane by Jason Richardson put the
Warriors ahead 110-103.

The Hornets will have the next two days off to rest their legs before heading
to Phoenix on Friday night. New Orleans is in the midst of a five-game road
trip.
