Detroit Pistons Team Report – November 24

=== Detroit Pistons Team Report – November 24 ===

(Sports Network) – The Detroit Pistons visit the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight
at Gund Arena. These teams split four meetings last season with each team
winning one contest on the road. Nonetheless, the Pistons have won nine of the
past 11 contests in this series.

Detroit will be without two key pieces to its puzzle tonight, as All-Star
forward Ben Wallace remains suspended for his part in last Friday’s melee at
the Palace and head coach Larry Brown didn’t make the trip. Brown was advised
by his doctors not to travel with the team for the time being, while he heals
from hip surgery.

The Pistons are getting used to playing without Wallace this season, as they
have done it four times. Without Wallace, the Pistons are just 1-3, including
Tuesday night’s 91-89 loss to the expansion Charlotte Bobcats. Wallace will be
sitting out the third of his six-game suspension tonight.

Chauncey Billups netted 24 points and handed out seven assists for the Pistons
in the loss, while Richard Hamilton added 14 points. Antonio McDyess chipped
in 13 points and 12 rebounds and Tayshaun Prince chipped in 13 points. Prince
has scored in double-digits in nine of Detroit’s 10 games this season.

The Pistons are just 1-4 on the road this season thanks to missing Wallace,
who spent most of last week with his family after the death of his brother.
