=== Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – November 24 ===

(Sports Network) – Emeka Okafor posted team-highs with 22 points and 15
rebounds to lead the Charlotte Bobcats over the Detroit Pistons, 91-89, in the
second of a home-and-home set at Charlotte Coliseum.

Keith Bogans added 18 points and seven boards for the Bobcats, who snapped a
seven-game losing streak. Brevin Knight contributed a season-high 19 assists
in the win. Knight had 20 assists on November 22, 1997 against Washington.

Charlotte was outshot, 51 percent to 47 percent, but won the battle on the
glass, 44-32.

The Bobcats became the first expansion team to defeat a defending NBA champion
since Portland and Buffalo beat the New York Knicks during the 1970-71 season.

The rookie Okafor has scored in double-digits in three straight games. He has
averaged 16.7 points and 10.7 rebounds in that span. Okafor has registered a
double-double in two straight and four games overall for Charlotte.

Charlotte is off until Friday when it visits the Indiana Pacers.
