(Sports Network) – Ben Gordon finished with 22 points off the bench to lead
the Chicago Bulls to their first win of the season, a 101-99 decision over the
Utah Jazz on Wednesday at the Delta Center.

Eddy Curry contributed 21 points for the Bulls, who started the season with a
franchise-record nine straight losses. Kirk Hinrich notched 17 points and
eight assists.

Luol Deng chipped in 11 points for Chicago, which mounted a late 11-2 run to
overcome a three-point hole and win on the West Coast for the first time since

New Orleans earned its first win of the season after eight consecutive losses
at Utah two nights earlier.

Antonio Davis scored nine points for Chicago, which improved to 1-6 on the
road this season.

Gordon has scored 15 or more points in three straight games. He is averaging
19 points per game in that span.

The Bulls are off until Saturday when they visit LeBron James and the
Cleveland Cavaliers. Last season, the Bulls and Cavs split four games.
