(Sports Network) – Minnesota has lost two straight contests, including a
106-102 loss to the short-handed Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse on
Thursday night.

Kevin Garnett had 23 points and nine rebounds to lead the way for the
Timberwolves, who were also short a man with the early morning arrest and
subsequent team suspension of center Michael Olowokandi.

Olowokandi spent Wednesday night in jail after police needed a stun gun to get
him to leave a nightclub in Indianapolis.

Garnett failed to record a double-double for the first time this season.

Troy Hudson scored 19 in Minnesota’s second consecutive loss of the year and
sixth in seven tries versus Indiana. Wally Szczerbiak and Latrell Sprewell
chipped in 18 and 16 points, respectively. Sam Cassell registered 10 points
and four assists for the Wolves.

The Timberwolves are 3-2 at home this season.

Minnesota will return to the court tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies at
the Target Center.

Minnesota has won two straight, 12 of 13 and 19 of its last 21 meetings with
the Grizzlies. The T’Wolves have won five of their last six home tilts versus
the Grizzlies. All-time, the Grizzlies are just 2-16 at Minnesota.
