Wizards hit the road without Jordan

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – Washington Wizards head coach Eddie Jordan
did not accompany the team to Philadelphia for Friday’s game against the
Sixers.

Jordan was hospitalized Thursday with a blood clot in his left leg and will
also miss Sunday’s game in Toronto. He is expected to remain in the hospital
for several days.

Jordan is in his second season with the Wizards, after four years as an
assistant with the New Jersey Nets. He also coached the Sacramento Kings in
the 1997-98 season.

Assistant Mike O’Koren will coach the team during Jordan’s absence.
