(Sports Network) – The Phoenix Suns were able to post a 95-86 win over New
Orleans on Friday, but lost point guard Steve Nash in the process.

Utah. In 12 games for Phoenix this season, Nash is averaging 16.2 points and
11.6 assists.

Phoenix to the 95-86 win over the Hornets on Friday at America West Arena.

Quentin Richardson finished with 21 points for the Suns, who have won seven
straight for the first time since November 2-15, 2000. Amare Stoudemire
contributed 14 points and 14 boards for Phoenix, which is off to its best
start since beginning the 1980-81 season with a 14-2 record.

Down 84-82, Phoenix reeled off eight straight points in the fourth quarter to
clinch the victory .

The Suns are off until Tuesday evening when they will visit the Jazz. Phoenix
