Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – November 27

=== Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – November 27 ===

(Sports Network) – The expansion Charlotte Bobcats will meet the Atlanta Hawks
for the first time in their brief history this evening at the Charlotte
Coliseum.

The Bobcats were losers on Friday evening, as they were handed an 82-77
setback in Indiana. Fred Jones scored 13 of his 23 points in the fourth
quarter, leading the Pacers to the come-from-behind win at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Emeka Okafor had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Charlotte, which failed to
follow up its win against the defending champion Pistons on Tuesday night with
another victory.

Jason Hart had 10 points and six assists, but had a potential game-tying layup
with 31 seconds left blocked by Jones. It was eighth loss in the last nine
games for the Bobcats.

Trailing 74-68 with just under 4 1/2 minutes left, Jones picked up his play.
He scored eight of the next 10 points for his club, giving the Pacers a 78-76
lead with 40 ticks on the clock.

Jones then made his biggest defensive play of the night, blocking Hart’s layup
attempt to keep Indiana ahead.

Both of the Bobcats’ wins have come at home, where they are 2-4.
