Celtics rookie West out again

Orlando, FL (Sports Network) – Boston Celtics rookie guard Delonte West will
miss an indefinite amount of time with a broken right hand.

West, a first-round draft pick, was injured during Boston’s loss at Miami on
Sunday.

He has seven points, four assists and three rebounds in two games for the
Celtics this season, both coming after he was activated from the injured list
on Friday.

West, who scored seven points in his NBA debut against Cleveland on Friday
night, was originally placed on the injured list November 1 with a broken
right thumb.

Boston’s game in Orlando on Monday night would have been a reunion of sorts
between West and Magic guard Jameer Nelson, as the two players shared the
backcourt at Saint Joseph’s last year before both were first-round draft
picks.
