Williams misses Memphis loss
Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – Memphis guard Jason Williams missed Tuesday’s
98-93 loss to Sacramento with a sprained index finger on his right hand.
In 14 games for the Grizzlies this season, Williams is averaging 9.6 points
and 4.9 assists.
Memphis also activated forward James Posey, who missed 11 games with a foot
injury, from the injured list. Posey finished with two points and three
rebounds in 15 minutes against the Kings.
Before the game, the Grizzlies also placed forward Brian Cardinal on the
injured list with a sprained right ankle. In 13 games this season, Cardinal
has averaged 6.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
