(Sports Network) – Stephon Marbury scored a game-high 26 points, going 5-
of-7 from three-point range, to lead the New York Knicks over the Memphis
Grizzlies, 90-82, at Madison Square Garden.

Marbury hit all five of his threes during a key run in the second quarter,
scoring 19 points in the frame, helping the Knicks win their third straight
and fifth in six games.

Mike Sweetney added 11 points and nine rebounds for New York, which has won
consecutive games in as many nights for the first time this season. The Knicks
defeated Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Jamal Crawford, who hit the game-winning shot in overtime against the Hawks,
was held to only nine points on 4-of-14 shooting, as the Knicks have won six
straight at home.

The Knicks went ahead by as many as 14 points, 81-67, in the final frame and
held off the Grizzlies down the stretch.

Kurt Thomas ended with eight points and 14 boards for New York, which forced
14 turnovers and had eight steals.

New York returns to action on Friday versus the Orlando Magic.
