(Sports Network) – The Hornets’ miserable early season continued on Wednesday
night, as they dropped a 94-81 decision to the Sacramento Kings at New Orleans
Arena.

David Wesley led the Hornets with 18 points, while Lee Nailon and Junior
Harrington tallied 15 points apiece. David West rounded out the Hornets’
double figure scorers with 10 points.

New Orleans fell to 1-13 on the season, as it dropped its fifth straight
contest.

The Hornets, who are coming off their worst month (1-12) in franchise history,
have yet to win in seven tries at home this season.

New Orleans shot just 38.5 percent from the field, including only 7.7 percent
(1-of-13) from three-point range. The Hornets were outscored, 20-6, at the
charity stripe.

The Hornets have their next two days off before hosting the Detroit Pistons on
Saturday night.
