(Sports Network) – Sam Cassell netted 26 points with 11 rebounds and eight
assists, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves over the Golden State Warriors,
107-99, on Wednesday at The Arena.

Wally Szczerbiak finished with 20 points and Kevin Garnett added 17 to go
along with 16 boards for Minnesota, which has won three straight. Latrell
Sprewell chipped in 15 points in the win.

The Timberwolves have won five of their last seven at Golden State. Minnesota
has won seven of 10 and 10 of the last 14 contests between the two squads.

Cassell has scored 20 more points three times this season. He is averaging
25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and seven assists in his last two games.

The Timberwolves are off until Friday when they visit the red-hot Phoenix
Suns. Last season, Minnesota swept the four contests with the Suns.
