Cavs’ Wagner back on injured list
Denver, CO (Sports Network) – The Cleveland Cavaliers placed guard Dajuan
Wagner on the injured list for the second time this season prior to Thursday’s
game against the Denver Nuggets.
Wagner, who missed the first seven games due to a sprained right ankle, is
suffering from an inflamed right arch. The third-year pro averaged 4.4 points
and 10.5 minutes in eight contests since returning.
In a related move, the club activated Sasha Pavlovic from the injured list.
The 6’7″ swingman averaged 3.6 points and 8.1 minutes in nine games before
being placed on the IL November 24 with patella tendinitis in his right knee.
Wagner, the sixth overall selection in the 2002 draft, has not played in more
than 47 games a year during his first two seasons due to various injuries.
