Kidd practices, might play Monday
East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) – New Jersey guard Jason Kidd practiced
with the team for the first time since undergoing knee surgery in July and he
could be on the court Monday.
Kidd, who had knee surgery on July 1 and has spent the season on the injured
list, will practice with the team one more time before suiting up against the
Toronto Raptors on Monday.
The Nets, who are off to a 3-12 start, had hoped to have Kidd for Saturday’s
game against Atlanta.
Kidd, 31, averaged 15.5 points, 9.2 assists and 6.4 rebounds over 67 regular-
season games last year for New Jersey. He then posted averages of 12.6 points,
9.0 assists and 6.6 boards in 11 playoff contests.
