Knicks make roster moves
Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – New York Knicks guards Allan Houston and
Moochie Norris have been activated from the injured list.
Houston, 6’6″, 205 pounds, has missed the team’s first 16 games of the season
with a left knee injury. He is not expected to dress for Tuesday’s game at
Norris, 6’1″, 185 pounds, has missed the past eight games due to left Achilles
tendinitis. In seven bench appearances this season, the seven-year NBA veteran
has recorded totals of six points, five assists and 45 minutes.
To make room on the roster, guard/forward Anfernee Hardaway and guard Jamison
Brewer have been placed on the injured list. Hardaway has a strained right
hamstring and Brewer is suffering from right big toe tendinitis.
Hardaway, 6’7″, 215 pounds, has missed two games this season because of the
injury, but has averaged 6.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 23.7 minutes in 14 bench
Brewer, 6’4″, 195 pounds, has averaged 1.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 10.3
minutes in four bench appearances this season.
