(Sports Network) – The New York Knicks were handed a loss by the Memphis
Grizzlies on Tuesday night at FedEx Forum. Earl Watson poured in a game-high
22 points and Mike Miller added 20, as Memphis rolled to the 96-88 win.

Jamal Crawford paced the Knicks with 17 points. Tim Thomas and Nazr Mohammed
each had 16 for New York, which has dropped three in a row.

Stephon Marbury, who was plagued with foul trouble through out the contest,
ended with just nine points on 2-of-12 shooting. Marbury did manage to dish
out nine assists in a losing cause.

The Knicks dropped to 1-6 on the road this season and will wrap up their four-
game swing with tonight’s game in New Orleans and Friday’s test in Washington.

New York won two of three meetings with the Hornets last season and has taken
12 of the last 20 matchups. However, the Knicks have also dropped five of
seven and six of their last nine road game against the Hornets.
