=== Memphis Grizzlies Team Report – December 8 ===

(Sports Network) – The Memphis Grizzlies shoot for their third win in their
first four games with new head Mike Fratello at the helm tonight, when they
begin a two-game road trip against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.

Memphis posted a 96-88 win over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night at
FedExForum. Earl Watson poured in a game-high 22 points and Mike Miller added
20 in the winning effort for the Grizzlies.

Pau Gasol collected 16 points, eight boards with seven assists for Memphis,
which won for just the second time in its last eight games. James Posey
chipped in 11 for the Grizzlies, who improved to 2-1 under Fratello.

Memphis guard Antonio Burks scored four points in 19 minutes after being
activated from the injured list. Burks replaced the injured Jason Williams on
the active roster. Williams is hampered with a sprained right ankle.

Memphis held a 48-28 margin in the paint, while outrebounding the Knicks,

Memphis, which improved to 5-5 at home this season, has tallied just a 2-7
road mark this season.

Memphis swept a pair of meetings between these teams last season, including a
double-overtime victory in Atlanta on March 29. Nonetheless, the Hawks have
won four of the past seven meetings in this series. Memphis is just 1-8 all-
time in Atlanta.
