(Sports Network) – Steve Francis poured in a game-high 36 points and added
eight rebounds and eight assists to lead Orlando over Golden State, 113-109,
at The Arena in Oakland.

Tony Battie posted 16 points and 15 boards for the Magic, who have won five of
their last six games.

Grant Hill missed his first game of the season for Orlando with a right shin
contusion.

The game was tied at 105-105 with just under two minutes left. Stacey Augmon
though got to the line with 1:27 left and made both his shots to give the
Magic a two-point edge and they led the rest of the way.

Then, with 50.9 seconds remaining, Augmon drained two more from the stripe to
push the Orlando advantage to 109-105.

Golden State cut the deficit to 109-108, but Francis responded with two foul
shots to make it a 111-108 contest.

With 19.9 seconds left, Jason Richardson made one of two free throws to get
within two at 111-109, but the Warriors could get no closer has Francis
completed the scoring with two more from the stripe.

Orlando returns to action on Sunday versus the LA Lakers.
