Chicago Bulls Team Report – December 14

=== Chicago Bulls Team Report – December 14 ===

(Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls fell to the Dallas Mavericks, 94-93, on
Monday at the United Center.

Eddy Curry hit on 9-of-11 field-goal attempts in a 20-point performance for
the Bulls, who were attempting to win back-to-back games for the first time
this season. Rookies Luol Deng and Ben Gordon chipped in 16 and 14 points,
respectively, while Tyson Chandler had 12 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Chicago appeared on its way to victory after Gordon sank a three-pointer from
the right corner with 12 seconds left for a 93-91 lead. Three seconds later,
Dirk Nowitzki, who made just 4-of-18 shots, drove the lane and drew a foul by
Chandler. He hit the first bonus attempt, then clanked the potential game-
tying second, but the rebound fell off a Bulls player and out of play.

Michael Finley then took the inbounds pass, stepped to his left, and swished a
12-footer to put Dallas in front to stay.

Curry has scored in double-digits in four straight games. He is averaging 16.5
points and seven rebounds in that span.

The Bulls are off until Wednesday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies. Last
season, Memphis swept the two contests between the clubs.
