Denver Nuggets Team Report – December 18

=== Denver Nuggets Team Report – December 18 ===

(Sports Network) – Denver will see its season-long, seven-game road trip
come to an end tonight as they finish up their two-contest Sunshine State tour
in Orlando.

The Nuggets’ initial contest in Florida did not net a positive result on
Friday night, as they fell 107-100 to the streaking Miami Heat.

Andre Miller led five Nuggets in double figures with 24 points, while Kenyon
Martin chipped in 21 points and 11 rebounds. Martin has a double-double in
each of his last three games and 11 total this season.

Carmelo Anthony tallied 14 points before leaving with a sprained ankle, which
will almost surely keep him out of tonight’s game. Earl Boykins added 11
points and Bryon Russell tacked on 10 in the defeat.

Nuggets forward Nene (right hip contusion) returned to action, posting five
points and four rebounds in 16 minutes.

Denver, which is 3-3 on its franchise record matching road trip, is 4-6 for
the year in foreign buildings.

Denver has won two of the last three in this series, including a 115-102
victory over the Magic at the Pepsi Center on December 6. However, the Nuggets
have dropped 11 consecutive trips to Orlando.
