(Sports Network) – The Knicks posted a rousing 113-107 come-from-behind
overtime win over the arch-rival Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center on
Friday night.

Allan Houston drained a three-pointer with under a second left in regulation
and Jerome Williams gave the Knicks the lead for good in overtime as they
escaped with a victory.

Stephon Marbury scored 10 of his game-high 27 points during a key fourth-
quarter that saw the Knicks overcome a 19-point deficit to win for the third
time in four outings.

Williams added eight points during the fourth and finished with 13 points and
nine rebounds, giving New York a second life off the bench. Houston ended with
15 points, as the Knicks reserves outscored their Philadelphia counterparts

New York hit 34-of-36 free throw attempts in the contest, while Philadelphia
struggled to a 17-of-27 effort. The Sixers did hit 48 percent of their shots
from the field, with the Knicks going for 42 percent.

Kurt Thomas ended with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks, who have won
both contests against the Sixers this season and seven of eight dating back to
the 2002-03 season. Jamal Crawford added 14 points in the win.

The Knicks are off today before returning to Madison Square Garden to host the
reeling Utah Jazz on Sunday afternoon.
