Cavs’ Snow suspended one game
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Eric Snow
was suspended one game without pay for his actions with head coach Paul
Silas during Thursday night’s setback in Detroit.
Snow was pulled from the game in the second quarter after being called for an
eight-second violation and on his way to the bench, he began cursing Silas.
The angered coach then confronted the Michigan State product before sending
him to the locker room for the remainder of the half.
Silas did allow Snow to rejoin the team in the third quarter, but did not play
Snow, who is in his first season with Cleveland after an offseason trade from
the Sixers, will sit out Saturday’s game against Boston. The suspension will
cost Snow nearly $54,000 in pay.
On the season, Snow is averaging 3.6 points and 3.5 assists.
