=== Washington Wizards Team Report – December 21 ===

(Sports Network) – The surprising Washington Wizards play the fourth of a
five-game road trip tonight, as they visit Peja Stojakovic and the Sacramento
Kings at ARCO Arena.

Washington has lost six straight after winning its last two at Sacramento.
The last time Washington defeated the Kings in Sacramento was on December 16,
1996.

Last season, the Kings and Wizards split a pair of contests. Overall,
Sacramento has won four of five and 10 of the last 12 meetings in this series.

On Monday, Gilbert Arenas scored on a driving layup with 0.8 seconds remaining
to lift Washington to a 103-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors at The
Arena. Arenas, who spent two seasons with the Warriors from 2001-03, finished
with a game-high 29 points for the Wizards, who are 2-1 on their current road
swing.

Two other ex-Golden State players, Larry Hughes and Antawn Jamison, also came
through with big efforts against their former club. Hughes delivered 25 points
on 10-of-18 shooting, while Jamison racked up 18 points and 11 rebounds in
Monday’s win.

Washington is 7-5 on the road this season.
