=== Indiana Pacers Team Report – December 23 ===

(Sports Network) – The Indiana Pacers’ continued to struggle on Wednesday, as
they dropped a 102-90 decision to the Philadelphia 76ers at Conseco
Fieldhouse.

Reggie Miller paced five Indiana players in double figures with 30 points on
10-of-15 shooting. Jeff Foster had 18 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for
the Pacers, losers of two straight and nine of their last 11. Jamaal Tinsley
had 17 points, while Austin Croshere and Freddie Jones both netted 10.

The 76ers grabbed their first lead since the opening quarter at 72-71 on a
Marc Jackson layup minutes into the fourth quarter. Philadelphia eventually
lost the lead but later regained it at 88-86 on an Andre Iguodala three-
pointer with 4 1/2 minutes remaining in the game.

Miller would make it 88-88 on a jump shot, but the 76ers scored 12 straight
for their largest lead at 100-88. Allen Iverson’s pair of free throws capped
the run with less than two minutes left in the contest. Indiana had no chance
for a comeback and suffered the 12-point defeat.

Pacers forward Jermaine O’Neal had his suspension reduced to 15 games
Wednesday by an arbitrator, but the NBA does not recognize the ruling.

O’Neal was involved in a brawl with fans during a game against Detroit in
Auburn Hills on November 19 and was suspended for 25 games by the NBA. The
arbitrator, Roger Kaplan, reduced O’Neal’s suspension after a December 9
hearing.

Indiana returns to action on Saturday against Detroit.
