(Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls recorded yet another win on Wednesday
night, downing Detroit, 89-82, at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Ben Gordon had 19 points and Andres Nocioni added 18 to lead the Bulls to the
victory. Tyson Chandler chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls,
who have won five straight games and are on their longest winning streak since
reeling off 13 straight during the end of the Michael Jordan era in 1998.

Eddy Curry added 12 points in the win.

Chicago snapped a nine-game losing streak in the series and won for only the
second time in the last 19 overall meetings.

The Bulls led by two after three quarters and quickly increased the margin to
69-64 early in the period on a pair of free throws by Hinrich.

Nocioni’s jumper at the midpoint of the fourth quarter stretched the edge to
seven points and the Pistons were not able to get any closer than five points

Chicago improved to 3-8 on the road while it defeated Detroit for the first
time since April 10, 2002.

The Bulls have the next three days off before heading to Milwaukee on Sunday
