Atlanta Hawks Team Report – December 28

=== Atlanta Hawks Team Report – December 28 ===

(Sports Network) – The Atlanta Hawks host the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at
Philips Arena.

Atlanta, which will be starting a brief two-game homestand tonight, has
dropped four of five and nine of its last 11 home games and is just 3-11 away
from home this season.

Cleveland defeated the Hawks earlier in the year and has won four straight in
the series. Atlanta, though, has won 10 of 15 and 13 of the last 20 meetings.
Despite winning their last two in Dixie, the Cavs are just 3-13 in their last
16 visits to Atlanta.

Atlanta ran into the buzzsaw known as the Miami Heat on Monday and found
itself on the wrong end of a 116-102 decision at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Antoine Walker netted 16 points for the Hawks but hit just 5-of-18 shots from
the field. Predrag Drobnjak and Tony Delk also had 16 points in the loss,
Atlanta’s sixth in seven games.

Over his last five games, Walker is averaging just 15 points and shooting just
33.3 percent. However, he leads the Hawks with 20.5 points and 8.9 rebounds
per game.
