Houston Rockets Team Report – December 29

=== Houston Rockets Team Report – December 29 ===

(Sports Network) – The Houston Rockets visit LeBron James and Cleveland
Cavaliers tonight at Gund Arena.

The Rockets and Cavaliers met twice last season with Houston winning both
contests. Houston has won two straight and seven of the last 11 matchups in
the series. However, Cleveland has won four of the last six meetings on its
homecourt.

The Rockets were dealt an embarrassing road loss on Tuesday night in
Milwaukee. Michael Redd scored a game-high 28 points to lead the Bucks to the
115-87 victory.

Tracy McGrady scored 20 points to lead the Rockets, losers in three of their
last five. Bob Sura added 19 points with 10 rebounds and seven assists in the
loss.

Houston’s Yao Ming scored just 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting. Controlled by
Milwaukee center Zaza Pachulia for much of the game, he grabbed just three
rebounds — indicative of Milwaukee’s 47-36 margin on the boards.

Maurice Taylor added 15 points for the Rockets, who trailed the entire game.

It was the fifth consecutive road loss for Houston, which is just 4-7 as the
visiting team this season.

McGrady has scored 20 or more points in seven straight games. He is averaging
25.9 points and 7.6 rebounds in that span.
