=== Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – January 1 ===

(Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats try to get back on the winning track
this evening when they travel to Miami to face the red-hot Heat at
AmericanAirlines Arena.

Charlotte has lost four in a row after a 103-97 loss to the Seattle
SuperSonics on Friday at Charlotte Coliseum.

Emeka Okafor posted his 18th straight double-double for the Bobcats, who have
dropped five of six and nine of their last 12. The rookie finished with a
career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Primoz Brezec contributed a
season-high 22 points in the loss.

Charlotte slipped to 3-15 this season when netting less than 100 points.

The Bobcats, who will start a brief two-game homestand following tonight’s
contest, are a dismal 1-12 away from home this season. Their lone road win
came back on December 22 in Houston.
