(Sports Network) – Tracy McGrady scored a game-high 42 points and grabbed 10
rebounds to lead the Houston Rockets to a 105-90 win over the Milwaukee Bucks
at the Toyota Center.

McGrady shot 13-of-24 from the field and 13-of-16 from the foul line for the
Rockets, who have won two straight and three of four. Maurice Taylor added 16
points for Houston, which played without starting center Yao Ming.

Yao sat out the game with the flu, marking the first time in his NBA career
that he has missed a contest. He had started 193 straight games.

Leading 60-59 late in the third quarter, McGrady sparked a 13-4 run that
helped the Rockets to begin to pull away. He scored 10 points during the
burst, extending Houston’s lead to 73-63 heading into the fourth.

In the final stanza after an early Bucks’ basket, six straight points by the
Rockets gave the club a 79-65 cushion. Milwaukee had trouble getting the
closer eight points the rest of the way.

The Rockets scored 51 points in the first half and have eclipsed the 50-point
plateau in a half in eight of the last nine games.
