=== Charlotte Bobcats Team Report – January 2 ===

(Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats road woes continued on Saturday, as
they were dismantled by the red-hot Miami Heat, 113-90, at AmericanAirlines
Arena.

Emeka Okafor posted 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Bobcats, who have lost
six of their last seven and 10 of 13. Jason Hart contributed 14 points.

Charlotte slipped to 1-13 away from home this season. Its lone win on the road
came back on December 22 in Houston.

Less than five minutes into the third quarter, Charlotte got within 63-56 on a
dunk by Gerald Wallace. However, a three-point play by Dwyane Wade capped a
18-4 burst and put the Heat ahead 81-60 with 3:53 to go in the third. They led
90-68 at the end of the quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats cut their deficit to 16 points, but got no
closer.

Charlotte plays Cleveland on Monday and has dropped both meetings with the
Cavaliers this season.
