lead Washington over Atlanta, 104-101, at the MCI Center. Antawn Jamison added
19 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards, who won for the first time in three

dropped their fourth straight.

Howard collected 14 points and 12 boards for Houston, which has won three in
a row and seven of its last 10 contests. Yao sat out the previous game
against Milwaukee with the flu, marking the first time in his NBA career
that he had missed a contest. Gordan Giricek paced Utah with 15 points.

two-game home losing streak and ended San Antonio’s five-game winning streak
in the process. Manu Ginobili paced the Spurs with 18 points. Tim Duncan had

of its last four contests. Lamar Odom contributed 12 points and 15 boards
and Chris Mihm ended with 10 points and eight rebounds in the win. Carmelo
