(Sports Network) – The Philadelphia 76ers try to get back on the winning
track this evening when they continue their season-long eight-game road trip
against the Golden State Warriors at The Arena.

On Sunday, the Sixers dropped an 89-83 decision to the Los Angeles Clippers at
the Staples Center. Allen Iverson scored a game-high 35 points for
Philadelphia, which has lost two straight away from home on the heels of a
five-game road winning streak.

Iverson, a three-time league scoring champ and the 2001 MVP, played at least
40 minutes for the 10th straight game and shot 16-for-30. The rest of Philly’s
starters shot a combined 4-of-20 from the floor.

Iverson, who leads the league in scoring with 28.9 points per game, had three
steals against the Clippers, extending his streak to 48 games with at least
one. His longest streak is 51, which ended on Jan. 17, 2003, against Memphis.

Philadelphia, which will close its trek with stops in Utah and Minnesota, is
6-10 away from home this season.

The Sixers split their two matchups with the Warriors last season, but has
dropped four of the last six meetings. Philadelphia has also dropped six of
nine in the Bay Area.
