(Sports Network) – Ben Gordon scored 19 of his career-high-tying 31 points in
the fourth quarter, as the surging Chicago Bulls rolled to a 110-78 rout of
Philadelphia at the United Center on Wednesday.

Gordon had just five points in 13 minutes before halftime, but he was 8-of-11
in 12 minutes after the break, including 4-of-6 from three-point territory. He
scored 17 during Chicago’s 22-5 run to open the fourth quarter.

Eddy Curry added 24 points for the Bulls, who have put together their second
five-game winning streak of the season to improve to 15-18. Kirk Hinrich
collected 16 points and a game-high nine assists in the win.

The Bulls took control of the game with an 11-2 run early in the third
quarter, stretching a four-point lead to 13 at 57-44. Luol Deng and Curry
scored the final six points of the spurt with consecutive three-point plays.

Chicago’s lead reached as high as 18 three times in the period, and topped out
at 36 in the fourth quarter.

Chicago, which leads the league in field goal percentage allowed, has held
opponents under 100 points in 19 consecutive games, the longest current streak
in the NBA.

The Bulls will complete their five-game homestand on Friday night against the
New York Knicks.
