(Sports Network) – The Nets suffered a 98-93 loss at the hands of the Dallas
Mavericks at American Airlines Center.

All five Nets starters scored in double figures as well. Vince Carter led the
way with a game-high 29 points. Rodney Buford netted 18 points, Nenad Krstic
scored 13 points, and Jason Collins had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Jason Kidd
recorded a triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists.

Kidd’s triple-double was the 61st of his career. It was his first triple-
double in Dallas since 1996, when he was a member of the Mavericks.

Carter has scored in double-figures in all 11 games he has played with New
Jersey.

The Nets have lost five straight road games. For the year, New Jersey is 5-15
on the road.

New Jersey returns to the court on Monday afternoon, as it faces the Atlanta
Hawks at Philips Arena.
