(Sports Network) – The Grizzlies tallied a 101-82 victory over the Milwaukee
Bucks at the FedExForum on Saturday night.

Jason Williams scored a team-high 25 points, including a season-high seven
three-pointers, to lead the Grizzlies to the win. In addition to handing out
a game-high eight assists, Williams hit 9-of-17 field goals attempts.

Pau Gasol contributed 22 points and eight rebounds to help Memphis, which set
a franchise record with 13 three-pointers.

The Grizzlies have won eight of nine and 11 of its last 14 overall.

Bonzi Wells added 21 points on off the bench while James Posey chipped in with
14 points as the Grizzlies improved to 12-8 at home.

The turning point in the game was the third quarter, which belonged to
Williams early and Wells late.

Williams hit five three-pointers in the frame and accounted for four
consecutive baskets as Memphis stretched its lead to 17 points with a little
more than 4:30 remaining.

Wells took over from there, collecting eight points in the final 3:30 as the
Grizzlies held a 77-65 edge after three quarters.

In the fourth quarter, Milwaukee cut Memphis’ lead to single digits, but the
Grizzlies rattled off a 10-0 run punctuated by a Shane Battier three pointer
that stretched the lead to 15 points with less than three minutes to play.
